The chance of success was always shown next to the accommodation offers in order to give students an idea about their chances of finding a suitable student accommodation.
The chance of success compares your accumulated waiting time and potential priority arrangements to those of all the other students who have been registered. The chance of success proved to be inaccurate, because students are not deregistered after accepting an accommodation. As such, the system also took into account the waiting time of students who had been registered for a number of years, but who were no longer actively looking for an accommodation.
For this reason we have decided to remove the chance of success next to the accommodation advertisements. Your preliminary position, which remains visible, is a better indication of whether or not you are eligible for a particular accommodation.
