Frequently asked questions

What is a campus contract?

The tenancy agreement is a so-called campus contract. This contract requires that you must vacate the student accommodation at most six months after you stop studying. This is to prevent graduates or tenants who have ended their studies from staying too long in student accommodation and so preventing others from moving up the student housing ladder. By signing the campus contract, you are giving the housing corporation permission to check annually whether you are still registered with an education institution.

  • You are required to demonstrate this yourself (with a recent proof of enrolment or a copy of your student card).

What do I have to do after I finish studying?

When you finish studying you are required to terminate your tenancy agreement. If you fail to do so the housing corporation will ask for a court order to terminate the agreement. All costs will be for the account of the tenant.
